The brief
Our client runs an annual sales incentive competition, designed to recognise and reward the top-performing European region with a truly once-in-a-lifetime incentive experience.
This trip has become exceptionally well-renowned within the organisation. Each year, we are tasked with selecting an exciting and unique destination to further drive sales and enhance performance, with a live leaderboard meticulously tracking each region’s success in the race to win the trip!
The details
Norway was selected as the destination for this year’s incentive trip. This relatively undiscovered country is rapidly gaining recognition as one of Europe’s most beautiful nations. The destination truly delivered on the ‘wow’ factor, offering adventurous activities set against a backdrop of stunning landscapes that provided surprises and delights at every turn.
The four-day itinerary seamlessly blended culture, history, and adrenaline. Guests travelled between Bergen, Flåm, and Voss, enjoying an action-packed schedule of experiences, including:
A memorable surprise helicopter transfer, offering breathtaking flights over fjords to snow-capped mountains. An invigorating hike on the Folgefonna Glacier, a truly breathtaking landscape.
A journey on the iconic Flåmsbana railway, providing stunning scenes with every twist and turn. A captivating RIB boat fjord safari, transporting guests directly to an authentic Viking adventure and feast at Aurland village.
Then to conclude the trip, the final activity was an exhilarating white-water rafting experience in Voss, providing one last surprise before guests headed home.
The trip was met with overwhelmingly positive reviews, with participants describing it as “truly incredible” for its perfect blend of nature, culture, and excitement.
I’m absolutely thrilled with the whole trip! Every part of it was perfectly organised, and the helicopter Surprise was Just incredible. Climbing the glacier was also an unforgettable experience. Honestly, I love everything about this trip – it was amazing from start to finish.
Power up Porto!
The brief
Our client came to us to help them deliver an incentive trip for their valued members that tied in with visiting one of their key Heat Pump factories in Porto. The aim of the trip was to ensure they maintain loyalty and increase business.
The challenge, develop two distinct incentive trips scheduled on consecutive weekends. The critical requirement was to appeal to two different demographic groups – one cohort of individual installers and another of installers who would bring a partner – whilst ensuring both experiences reflected the client’s core brand values.
The experience
Both groups enjoyed their stay at the Hotel Forte de Gaia, a meticulously chosen 5-star property. Its prime location was ideal, allowing guests ample free time to explore whilst consistently delivering the high level of service expected from a premium hotel. This ensured an effortless experience from the moment they arrived.
The trip itinerary was thoughtfully crafted and packed with engaging moments for everyone. It kicked off for both groups on Night One with an iconic Rabelo boat tour, immediately immersing guests in Porto’s picturesque riverside. This was followed by a superb dinner at RIB, setting a captivating tone for the incentive.
Day Two for both groups included the essential factory visit – a crucial element for our client’s business objectives. We seamlessly integrated this, then delighted guests with a surprise lunch on a boat at Costa do Sal, an unexpected and memorable touch that truly elevated the day.
Day Three saw the itineraries diverge, providing experiences tailored to each demographic’s preferences, yet still rooted in authentic connection:
For the individual installers, the day was filled with high-octane adventures. One group tackled strategic paintballing, whilst the other embraced the thrill of off-road buggies, fostering camaraderie and shared excitement.
For the couples, day three offered a more serene and sophisticated journey. They were treated to an exquisite wine experience and gourmet lunch at Aveleda winery, providing an intimate taste of Portugal’s renowned winemaking tradition in a tranquil setting.
To bring both trips to a spectacular close, was the final Gala events. The individual installer group enjoyed a vibrant Gala Lunch which seamlessly transitioned into Sundowners at Praia de Luz, while the couples indulged in a sophisticated Gala Evening at VP at WOW, boasting breathtaking, panoramic views over Porto. Both experiences ensuring a distinct yet equally memorable farewell for each.
Special thanks to the team for going above and beyond to ensure everyone felt valued and included. It was a fantastic opportunity to build relationships, share ideas, and feel appreciated. Porto was a beautiful city, and a great choice.
Celebrating sales success in Zel am See
The brief
VW Ireland/Trade Link host an annual incentive to reward and recognise their 12 top sales staff. Being a predominantly male group and working within the automotive industry, the GP Ice Race in Zell am See was perfect unique experience to centre and incentive around.
The details
SEVEN worked closely with the client to create a bespoke programme with the race at the heart. The action-packed race fuelled itinerary also allowed for down time and activities away from the action, with a trip to the viewing platform 3029m above Salzburg!
Group dinners were planned encourage networking and team bonding and to celebrate all the success that achieved the trip.
Straight off the bat it all went incredibly well, it was a unique event for us, so uncharted territory therefore an amount of risk involved if the preparation had not been meticulous. The itinerary put together by yourselves in tandem with Marie Louise was excellent! and gave in my opinion, the perfect balance between activities and free time, and as always not all participants are avid fans of the main theme of the trip, further reason for additional activities and free time to be carefully thought out and planned.
Taking incentives to the next level
The brief
Our client, Skoda Ireland, relaunched their Dealer Principal Incentive trip for the first time in 5 years, and were looking for a programme that would wow with exciting activities as well as plenty of rest and relaxation. Skoda Ireland needed an agency partner who could help them inspire dealers as well as designing and managing a trip of a lifetime.
We proposed multiple destinations including luxury hotels, restaurants and exciting excursions, each ensuring a memorable and special trip. Once the destination of Lanzarote was chosen, our creative team came up with a range of exciting concepts to give the incentive its own identity. The client chose the ‘Next Level Club’, creating an exclusive winners club which dealers could aspire to join and whilst being incentivised. This shaped the communication strategy that we managed, from campaign launch and registrations, through to delegate comms and event delivery.
The details
Our expert team managed all logistics including group flights, transfers, accommodation and everything on the ground. The group stayed at the 5* luxury Hotel Fariones which was the perfect place to maximise downtime between activities. Their programme included many special and memorable experiences from a safari tour around the island visiting volcanic craters and wine tasting, to a luxury catamaran cruise and private sunset dinners overlooking the harbour. SEVEN levelled up the guest experience above and beyond expectations and took their trip to the next level.
All of the guests and I were blown away with the trip to Lanzarote, the fantastic venues you picked for us, the meticulous research done in advance and, most of all, the care that you took of all of the guests. Your professionalism and willingness to exceed expectations were incredible, thank you for an exceptional event and marking the various special occasions that we had for some of the travelling party. The ultimate couple’s incentive trip
The brief
Our client runs an annual Presidents Club for their top achieving employees each year. The trip alternates between a family’s trip or for the winner and a plus one. 2024 saw our trip for couples – they were looking for somewhere long-haul and the ultimate luxury for guests to enjoy. Hotels needed to be of the highest standard, whilst remaining in budget, and flight journeys need to be considered from multiple destinations such as Prague, Budapest, Paris, Rome and London.
This year marked a memorable reunion for our client’s annual event as they returned to Mauritius, building on the success of their 2018 couple’s trip. Opting for a more luxurious experience, they chose The Four Seasons, renowned for its lavish amenities and stunning ocean views, which set the stage for an unforgettable retreat.
The agenda was thoughtfully designed to blend relaxation with adventure. Guests embarked on a catamaran journey, where they were treated to a snorkelling experience among dolphins and turtles, marvelling at the underwater wonders of Mauritius. The thrill continued with a hike up the challenging, yet scenic, trails of Lion Mountain, offering panoramic views of the island’s lush landscape.
A local cookery class provided a delightful cultural immersion as attendees learned to craft traditional Mauritian dishes; a hands-on experience that was as educational as it was tasty. The adventure didn’t stop there; canyoning in one of Mauritius’ pristine nature reserves offered an adrenaline-pumping encounter with the island’s natural beauty.
Evenings were reserved for group dinners where guests could unwind and share stories from the day’s exploits. The downtime was ample, allowing everyone to soak up the serene environment and rejuvenate.
The event concluded with universal praise, rated ‘excellent’ by all attendees who cherished the rich blend of luxury, culture and adventure that only Mauritius could offer.

Magic in Morocco
The brief
SEVEN were tasked with planning and delivering a once in a lifetime, exciting incentive trip for our client. EXA planned to take their top 20 performers across their business away to Marrakesh as part of their Top Achievers Club program. The programme had to inspire colleagues around the business and leave the lucky winners feeling blown away.
We worked closely with the client to understand what was important to their teams and to build a dream itinerary for those striving for a place. Through careful planning and a detailed site visit, we created an exciting, tailor-made itinerary which ensured the winners had a true taste of Marrakesh as well as a high-end, luxurious experience.
The details
Before the event, we built a bespoke registration page which was then used to rouse guest excitement by revealing snippets of the trip to the lucky winners in the lead up and allowed guests to select their personal preferences.
For accommodation, we sourced the brand-new Nobu Marrakesh, the first in Africa, for an exclusive stay. From the moment guests arrived, they were greeted with personalised hampers of Moroccan goodies as well as high tech gadgets. The programme was packed with unique activities and experiences including a sunrise hot air balloon, a local cooking class and guided tours of the colourful souks. The group were treated to an array of dining experiences from beautiful Moroccan palaces, and trendy rooftops, through to a special desert dinner with belly dancers, fire breathers and folk dancers.
The feedback from all the guests and the client was that it went above and beyond expectations. EXA was left with memories for a lifetime and is already looking ahead to future trips.
