Role Overview:
The role will take a senior, proactive approach to driving new business growth for the agency, identifying and securing high-value clients and positioning SEVEN as a strategic event partner. Working closely with the senior management team, you will help shape and deliver the agency’s commercial strategy, driving sustainable revenue growth through new and existing sales.
Applicants should have:
- At least five years’ experience within an events agency in a senior client-facing, business development or account growth role
- A highly proactive, strategic approach to identifying and converting new business opportunities
- A proven track record of winning, negotiating and closing high-value accounts
- Experience contributing to and executing sales and growth strategies at a senior level
- Strong experience developing account plans and managing senior stakeholder relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage at board and decision-maker level
- Experience leading sales pitches, proposals and tenders for prospective clients
- Strong commercial acumen, including budget management, pricing strategy and contract negotiation
- The ability to influence, negotiate and close complex commercial agreements
- A “can do” attitude, showing leadership and initiative in proposal and tender development
- Excellent organisational skills with a strategic and creative approach to working alongside project teams
