We began our journey with a flight to Barcelona, followed by a smooth one-hour transfer to the hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a delicious tapas-style lunch enjoyed in the warm Spanish sunshine the perfect start to our stay.
The afternoon was all about wellness and relaxation. We had the opportunity to unwind in the hotel’s impressive spa, where each of us received a personalised treatment. A highlight for many was the Cryotherapy chamber, an invigorating and surprisingly enjoyable experience that left us all feeling refreshed and re-energised! After checking into our beautifully appointed rooms, we met for pre-dinner drinks in the Library Bar, a sophisticated and cosy space perfect for unwinding. Dinner was served in the hotel’s restaurant, where we savoured a menu that showcased the best of local cuisine.

Our second day began with a comprehensive site visit of the hotel. The meeting and event facilities are impressive – all conveniently located in one area of the property. There are six breakout spaces and a main ballroom with an adjacent terrace, ideal for sunny coffee breaks or networking sessions.
Hotel Camiral also benefits from a 4-star sister property next door, offering additional accommodation for larger groups, and a collection of private villas that are truly breathtaking.
Excitingly, the resort will play host to the Ryder Cup in 2031, and it was fantastic to see the championship golf course first-hand. We enjoyed a relaxed lunch at the Clubhouse, taking in the views over the greens.
In the evening, we ventured into Girona’s historic city centre, where a local guide led us through the winding medieval streets, sharing fascinating insights into the city’s rich history. The night concluded with a memorable tasting menu at Normal Restaurant, helmed by the renowned Roca brothers – an unforgettable dining experience.

Our final morning was dedicated to the Golf Hub, where we took part in a fun and engaging golf clinic. Whether seasoned players or complete beginners, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the session. Sadly, it was then time to depart – but not without lasting memories of a truly exceptional experience.
