Together we shine online

The brief

Pepsi Lipton required a virtual event platform for their annual European Marketing conference. Following a successful first virtual conference due to the pandemic the client decided to keep this event virtual, so they could attract a wider audience for the event.

The event platform needed the ability to be customizable, as well as broadcast a high-quality stream, to keep attendees engaged. Usually, this event is held a month later in the year, but it was brought forward extremely last minute. Which meant we needed to come together quickly as a team due to the tight time constraints.

The details

The agenda, built within our bespoke event platform, with a jam packed itinerary of two full days of presentations and activities for all attendees. With over 40 different presenters, we needed to quickly organise diaries for technical checks and rehearsals, whilst working efficiently as the presenters were perfecting their content up until the last minute.

The conference ended with an awards ceremony, which we broadcast into zoom so that attendees could socialise with each other, plus it gave us the ability to spotlight the well-deserved winners. The awards were followed up by virtual musical bingo to wrap up the ‘together we shine’ theme on a high.

SEVEN were a dream to work with on our marketing event. Due to a late date change, we had a lot to do in a short space of time and at every point we felt reassured we would achieve our aims. In the lead up to the event we had an ever-changing agenda and their flexible but ultra-organised approach meant we always felt in safe hands. The team navigated us expertly through our first virtual conference of this kind; the event was a great success, and we can’t wait to partner with them again.

Explore the possibilities to succeed together

The brief

After a first successful hybrid kick-off event the year prior, Telefónica returned to SEVEN to repeat their annual event and looking to elevate the online experience.

Event setup

The details

The key fundamental change for the hybrid event was the technology offering and event platform which SEVEN designed and built. Updates to the event application and online viewing platform meant that the viewer experience for the event felt fresh and new.
Guests within the venue at IET Savoy Place had access to the event app and those logging in remotely had access to the online web portal. Which meant that all attendees no matter their location could participate fully in the day.

Aswell as the online attendees we had teams viewing on mass in both Belfast and Edinburgh with a two-way link bringing the satellite offices live to the main venue.
Utilising the new event application offering meant an improved user interface experience which resulted in a higher level of engagement across the virtual event analytics. The numbers of interactions across the across the platform increased dramatically.

Engaged Audience at a Corporate Event
I’d like to say a huge thank you to you and your team. The event was a massive success and the feedback has been great from everyone – regardless of whether they were there in person or watching online. There have been a number of comments about how slick and professional the production was and everyone was impressed with how smoothly it all ran – especially the sections where we linked to the offices and brought in the two remote winners. So, thank you for delivering such a great event – and in such a short turnaround (one day I won’t have to add that last bit!).

Showcasing innovative urban design

The brief

WiredScore approached SEVEN to organise an event to position them as a thought leader and expert in connectivity. They wanted to create a virtual event which would offer an incredible online experience to attendees across the globe. Educating on their smart neighbourhood’s initiative to promote the recently published white paper report.

The details

SEVEN built a custom studio at the WiredScore office in London, where we recorded a range of TED style talk segments, alongside panel discussions in the studio and virtually. The final broadcast was a mix of studio recorded footage and online recordings, to allow for international speakers and sharing of case studies across the globe.

The broadcast went out twice on the event day allowing for coverage of a global audience, while the WiredScore team enjoyed a viewing party in the Lonon office.

The event was extremely well received, with the virtual audience remarking on the high standard of the broadcast, commenting that it was “super slick and felt as polished as an Apple event.
