18 Aug Jumeirah Carlton Tower – A Hidden Gem
Avid followers of our blogs here at Seven Events Events will know that we like to find new hidden gems in London and this week we were lucky enough to be introduced to another.
First off we started at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower. Nestled just off of Sloane Street, the private events entrance at the hotel leads straight up to the dedicated events floor. We were lucky enough to take a sneaky peek at the ballroom which is currently being renovated to a new glory. We won’t spoil the surprise other than to say that we’re sure it’s going to look amazing and can’t wait to hold an event there ourselves.
After a whistle stop tour of the other amenities and a quick look at the bedrooms we took a short walk around the corner to the Carlton’s sister property (although we like to think of it more as the chic friend), the Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel.
Luckily the weather was on our side and we were able to sip a glass of something bubbly out on the Terrace. The Terrace really is a great little find in London. If you’re looking for somewhere to eat outside with great food then we’d highly recommend it.
We sampled The Terrace Hot Platter and Hummus with pitta bread before delving into the sea bass salad and a very tasty Spanish burger which was the burger of the day. Naughty but nice!
Go there now before the rest of our blog readers beat you to it and you’re no longer able to get a table!
