this week is royal ascot (15th – 17th june) and whilst last year it all happened behind closed doors, this year 12,000 people will be heading to the races as part of the governments events research programme.
if however, you’re not lucky enough to have a ticket there are plenty of ways that you can still get involved.
time for a picnic?
you can get your very own royal ascot wicker hamper filled with picnic goodies or afternoon tea, as well as cocktail boxes (which are a must!) they can be pre-ordered and delivered nationwide and if the hamper is a little too much, then they can also be delivered in fully sustainable cardboard containers. such a delicious treat whilst cheering on your horse from your living room!
get all dressed up
if you’re going to watch then we suggest you do it in style! dig out your best dress or suit (it’s probably at the back of your wardrobe not having been out for almost 18 months) and go all out and put your fascinator in. it’ll make the day all the more fun.
